On Sunday, October 21st we’ll be delivering humor set in the wild west with our Third Annual Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser, with festivities starting at 5 pm at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa’s Grand Ballroom.  

You Have the Right to Remain Dead is a western-themed comedy by Pat Cook that promises a fun and interactive evening, including audience participation in the performance, a free welcome glass of champagne for those 21 or older, appetizers,  silent auction, southwest style dinner buffet and door prizes.

In keeping with the presentation’s zany setting, Western attire is encouraged, and the evening’s finale will be a line dancing contest.  Directed by Cecil Averett, the cast includes 10 local actors and actresses.  The play promises to deliver abundant laughs, along with plot twists that will keep the audience guessing until the last clue is dropped and the last ham overacts.

The event is TheatreWorks’ major fundraiser of the year in support of the nonprofit performing arts group’s outreach programs and theater classes for youth and adults.  Tickets are available at www.twnn.org or by calling 775-722-2155 and are $45 in advance, $50 at the door, $320 for a table of eight or $400 for a VIP table of eight.  This play is suitable for all ages.
