The Boxcar Children play synopsis follows four orphaned siblings— Henry, Jessie, Violet & Benny—who flee their cruel-seeming grandfather to build a home in an abandoned boxcar, learning to survive by their wits, finding kindness from strangers like the benevolent Dr. Moore, and ultimately discovering their grandfather isn't mean, leading to a happy reunion where the boxcar becomes their backyard clubhouse, teaching themes of family, resilience, and finding home.
